About Voice4You
We give young people the knowledge and tools to take part in public debate – and to create content that others can trust.
Who we are
A non-profit association
Voice4You is a non-profit association working with young people’s voices and media and information literacy. The association was founded by journalists Lotta Bergseth and Jenny Sköld.
In many of our projects we use the Mobile Stories method, in which students try journalistic methods: from idea and research to interviews, source checking and publishing.
More than 13,000 young people have been reached by Voice4You’s tools and resources.
Disinformation and polarization risk eroding young people’s engagement and trust in democracy. By working with educational tools to create credible content themselves, they also learn to recognize quality in others’ publications.
Purpose
Media and information literacy for everyone
Media and information literacy – digital skills and source criticism – is crucial for a sustainable democracy. That is why we work to make schools prioritise this knowledge.
This knowledge is also needed to achieve the Global Goals. A peaceful and sustainable world requires us to make decisions on a credible basis.
Our goal is for everyone, regardless of background and circumstances, to feel confident when they take in and create information.
We support young people in taking a bigger place in public debate where it is needed most – in sparsely populated areas and in areas with high levels of social exclusion. We train not only students but also their teachers.

Tailor a collaboration
Together we develop a solution that contributes to one or more of the association’s goals.
Workshops and study visits
You can arrange workshops, events or study visits for school classes and share your knowledge, online or on site.
Competitions and assignments
We can organise a joint competition or assignment that engages young people in these issues.
